PTFE

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), commonly known as Teflon®, is a crystalline thermoplastic polymer with extremely high molecular weight that is chemically inert in almost all environments. It offers excellent dielectric properties, resistance to high temperatures (usable up to 260°C / 500°F) and an extremely low coefficient of friction.

PE

Polyethylene, also known as Polizene®, is a material with a very low coefficient of friction, allowing it to be used as an alternative to Teflon® in applications requiring anti-adhesive properties. Thanks to its chemical inertness to many agents and water, it is also widely used in food-related applications.

PVC

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is a thermoplastic polymer with excellent chemical properties and easy machinability.

PMMA

Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), commonly known as Plexiglas®, is a material with very high transparency, resistant to scratches and impacts (compared with polycarbonate) and easy to machine. It can also be supplied in different colors.

PC

Polycarbonate (PC) is a transparent material resistant to impacts and heavy loads. It offers good chemical resistance and is easy to machine. Polycarbonate can be supplied in solid or multiwall versions (for construction applications). It is also available in various colors.

PEEK

Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) is a semicrystalline thermoplastic polymer with excellent mechanical and chemical resistance properties, which remain stable even at high temperatures (continuous operating temperatures up to approximately 250°C / 482°F). PEEK is also valued for its chemical inertness, making it resistant to most commercially available solvents.
